Great location and attentive hosts, but the low reviews agree on things that ruin sleep and trust: an unsafe street, dark noisy bedrooms, damp, surprise charges, and a building that breaks. What the stars hide
Drug use, pickpockets, and a neighborhood guests call sketchy and unsafe at night. One guest's relative faced an attempted robbery right outside the door. Two reviewers say they would never return.
No proper windows, small openings onto the elevator shaft, earplugs every night, noisy pipes, a narrow passage, and bare rooms. Airbnb's own tag shows 83 reviews mention sleep quality.
Tourist tax announced a week before arrival and paid in cash, a fee for a second towel change, toiletries not restocked. One guest paid about €2,000 for five nights and felt every little thing had its own price.
